The Blue Night is a the biggest cultural event of its region. It’s also a Long Night of Museums that has taken place annually in Nuremberg's city center at the beginning of May since 2000. The event is attended by up to 150,000 people annually. It features a variety of art events  under the same concept (music, dance, theater, visual art, museums, guided tours, performances, installations etc.) with approximately more than 100 own cultural events.​​​​​​​
